Unlike traditional telephone systems, VoIP systems do not require telephone lines. With traditional options, businesses pay based on the number of lines they have, in addition to other costs. Alternatively, the second plan lets you pay for as many channels as you want. One channel equals one incoming or outgoing call. This option gives unlimited minutes of monthly usage. However, you are limited in how many simultaneous calls you can make – as each channel allows outside calls.
