It’s about half the price of S3 Standard but there’s a smaller item size charge and a 30-day contract for each stored item. Income is also used. This is a good option for continuous data protection and file extension where data needs to be accessed immediately but not frequently.
S3 Single Zone – Easy Access: One zone is specially designed for storage where this is one of two physical copies of the data. It is the cheapest hot storage at about $10 per TB but data is only stored in one data center in the region, which means there is a risk of data loss.
S3 Glacier Instant Restore, S3 Glacier Easy Restore (formerly S3 Glacier) and S3 Glacier Deep Archive are three levels of storage, designed for archive data that rarely needs to be accessed. Storage costs are $4, $3.6 and $1 per TB/month, respectively. S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval provides the fastest access to data storage, with the same performance and millisecond access as S3 Standard and S3 Standard-IA storage classes. With S3 Glacier Easy Archive and S3 Glacier Deep Archive, data is accessed as standard in just 12 hours. Glacier Flexible Retrieval offers fast retrieval in minutes but at a high cost. Glacier Easy Backup and Glacier Deep Backup have the highest data recovery rates and minimum contract lengths of 3 and 6 months per item. Many organizations that need to store data for compliance purposes would do well to consider these measures because it will reduce long-term storage costs.
Microsoft offers 3 levels: Hot, Cool and Archives. There are also premium heat levels designed for large trading data, but currently it is not possible to adjust the level from premium level to other levels. Otherwise, the Hot, Cool and Archive tiers follow the same pattern of high-to-low storage costs, low data recovery costs and data recovery times as the AWS S3 tiers. The average storage contract period is nothing, 1 month and 6 months for Hot, Cool and Archive, respectively.

Microsoft offers fixed capacity pricing that provides a fixed price per tier for a minimum storage commitment over 1 or 3 years.
Google offers 4 levels: Standard, Nearline, Coldline and Archives. Pricing varies across regions, but is consistent with AWS Standard, Easy Access and Glacier. There are no data recovery costs for Google Cloud Standard, but they are higher at all levels. It’s worth noting that the Archive level has a minimum 365-day contract for each item. On the other hand, Google Cloud allows direct access to data when needed.
IBM also has 4 standard Tiers. Like Amazon S3 Intelligent Tiering, IBM Smart Tier will manage your data between hot, cold and cold based on performance and access. Then there are Standard, Vault and Cold Vault for different types of data storage. Additionally, storage costs go from high to low and data retrieval times from low to high. They also have Archive and Accelerated Archive classes that offer 12 or 2 hour retrieval times with lower long-term storage charges.
Wasabi is a new generation cloud storage provider that offers cloud storage only at a fixed price of $5.99 per TB per month (this may vary by region) with no ingress, egress or I/O costs. Some contracts may have a small storage charge of up to 3 months. Prices are also lower for contracts lasting more than 1, 3 or 5 years.

While there is a large number of choices of cloud providers, this is often limited by company policies, which regions provide services through which providers or data ownership issues.
